I left you once on the night train I left you once once on the night train I left you once on the night train I left you once once once but baby here we go again Lost my baggage many times Singing someone else’s rhymes Thought you’d save me from myself Until I found my love sittin’ on your shelf I left you once on the night train I left you once once on the night train I left you once on the night train I left you once once once but baby here we go again The sun can’t hold me to a face Though I'd give anything for a taste The things I like, you know they always hurt Oh but in this life you got guns and you got church I left you once on the night train I left you once once on the night train I should know better than to be smart I should know better than to be smart I should know better than to be smart Your love it hit me like a poison dart I left you once on the night train I left you once once on the night train I left you once on the night train I left you once once once but baby here we go again again again again again again I left you once ——-

dancing in the front yard patterns in cement and skylights 1979 before the peso flew south we smiled in the sunlight Some of us learned to tumble right before the time came to fall Dad said no talking to strangers Make friends with the boys on the block this ain't no punkrock But on day one I couldn't recognize my house from the schoolbus window wound up crying at a phonebooth cross town I want to go home Things don't happen in slow motion just because you're far away Hold your friends in your heart locked under seven keys so said the song I heard in America Dancing in the front yard patterns in cement and skylights 1979 before the peso flew south They smiled in the sunlight at the end of each other's tunnel they were the light And they dared kiss hope on the lips I want to go home I'll sing for you when you're gone and you can have me in the song why do i end up with these blues every time I fall Is this the love i had to lose or must I lose them all so said the song I heard in america I want to go home Things don't happen in slow motion just because they're far away Hold your friends in your heart locked under seven keys Just get me out of the weeds, please! so said the song so said the song I heard I heard in america dancing in the front yard patterns in cement and skylights 1979 before the peso flew south we smiled in the sunlight some of us learned to travel light before the time came to fall before the time came to fall before the time came to fall

I gotta stash my paraphenalia to land on the aircraft carrier you like to call me a failure but you're locked out behind the barrier I'm not an inquiring mind I haven't got the time you see these are the good old days and I'll see you at the coronation they're crying out across the nation praying for my salvation they leveled the accusation that I'm a walking greatest hits compilation say he's a walking greatest hits compilation we'll make a movie adaptation it's no exaggeration he's living in temptation smoke sin beats procrastination He's not an inquiring mind Yeah I haven't got the time I created a new sensation come join my celebration I'm risking my reputation with my parent corporation got a simple explanation, see I am a walking greatest hits compilation all i can hear is work when you sing but this is not a work song not this time I ain't got no hearing for your fake feeling You think it's a fun time but the rewind is a bind The Rewind Is A Bind! I'm not an inquiring mind Yeah I haven't got the time ya know these are the good old days and you are all part of my creation and they're crying out across the nation come and join my congregation yeah they're praying for my salvation 'cause I'm a walking greatest hits I'm a walking greatest hits I'm a walking greatest hits I'm a walking greatest hits compilation

come into the fold you've wandered far and wide you flew but you stayed true to the song you carry inside wondering if you'd ever find us or the ones you left behind wondering if you'd ever find us or the ones you left behind drink deep with the dawn divine sleep we swim on don't let the bounder get you down you are not one of them you are one of us and we take care of our own sister of the time, champion of lost hours aloneness is a beast and she devours I won battles, lost the war and I can't fight anymore I brought myself to death's door trying to please people don't let the bounder get you down you are not one of them you are one of us and we take care of our own

about

Trevor Exter and John Kimock have a unique chemistry as musicians, wringing the depth of drums and cello.

Sounding at once modern and tribal, they take no prisoners with a driving groove and passionate lyrics. People often say that it sounds like a full band, even though there are just two of them. They don't use loops, but sometimes they do. Mostly they just floor it.
